Bupa Great Yorkshire Run
Event Details
Entries are open for the Bupa Great Yorkshire Run, which returns to the region on Sunday 2 September seeing thousands of charity fundraisers, athletes and celebrities taking on the Sheffield 10k.
Starting on Arundel Gate, the route heads along Penistone Road to Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough stadium, before finally returning to the city centre finish line. The Sheffield Bands on the Run will be there to motivate you every step of the way, and the entertainment will continue into the early evening with live music in the Peace Gardens.
Why not make a day of it by getting the kids involved in the Bupa Junior & Mini Great Yorkshire Run? For just £9 youngsters can take part in a 1.5k or 2.5k run, with prizes for the winners and all runners awarded with a medal, t-shirt and finisher’s pack full of goodies!
